⛳ Drive for the Trades Golf Tournament ⛳
📍 Ironwood Golf & Country Club
📅 April 30
The Drive for the Trades Golf Tournament is more than a day on the course — it’s an investment in the future of our workforce and our community. Proceeds from this tournament directly fund construction trade scholarships for local students pursuing degrees and certifications in the construction industry. For many recipients, these scholarships make the difference between entering the skilled trades or missing the opportunity altogether. By opening doors to education and training, we are channeling more skilled workers into the local job market, powering the next generation of builders, strengthening our economy, and helping keep housing affordable.
With 41% of today’s construction workforce expected to retire between now and 2031, these scholarships are for the workers who will take your place — the professionals who will fuel your business, support growth, and sustain our communities for years to come.
Join fellow golfers, industry partners, and supporters for an unforgettable day of competition, connection, and purpose at the beautiful Ironwood Golf & Country Club. This premier tournament features two exciting flights, offering flexibility and a full day of action on the greens.

Proceeds from the tournament fund the Trey Kuhn Memorial Scholarship at Pitt Community College. The fundraiser is named for Trey Kuhn, the son of Will & Cindy Kuhn (Will Kuhn Homes). Trey passed away after being diagnosed with Glioblastoma- a rare and deadly brain cancer.
Trey was a student in PCC's Construction Trades Education program (CTE), and his namesake scholarship currently provides a full ride to 4 students annually in the CTE program.
The golf tournament gets larger every year with added fun for a great cause- to honor Trey's legacy and train the next generation of trades people.
