A Letter from the President- 2nd VP Nomination
Dear Fellow Members:
It is with a heavy heart that I submit this election form to our membership with an open seat in our
leadership. It was my hope that the successes of our organization and the strong leadership amongst
our current Board of directors as well as the unprecedented administrative support we are receiving
from our Executive Officer would spurn a potential leader amongst us.
In my last effort to find a person within our organization, I submit to you a description of our open seat:
2nd Vice President:
ï‚· Term of one year
ï‚· Subsequently the Vice President and then President for 1 year terms for a total of three years
(the ladder)
ï‚· Learns the jobs of the President and Vice President while acting as an advisor on the executive
committee
ï‚· Chairs the committee of their choice
ï‚· Travels to NCHBA leadership training once over 2 years
ï‚· Travels to NAHB leadership training once over 2 years
ï‚· Travels to quarterly state meetings as president in year 3 to represent IBXHBA
